Hi Dawood,

The best way is to use a topspin stroke.  You can see the tutorial on the Forehand Topspin Off Backspin for tips on how to do the stroke.

This is an important stroke in the game and one that you can spend some time working on.

You can also use the push strokes as well as a variation to bring the hopper closer to the table.  This then makes you topspin more effective.

Tactics Against A Defensive Chopper

A chopper likes to get back from the table and get into a nice rhythm. If you keep the defender close to the table in the early part of the rally, it's hard for them to transition back into their chopping position.
