I play 2 to 2:30 hours table tennis daily. Most of the time i play attacking shots like loops and smashes etc. after playing my legs pain for sometime and then i get lazy............................... Can you give me relaxation tecniques which i can use after playing.
thank you.
Hi Mahimn,
Just lying down and doing some deep breathing can be useful. Or elevate your legs to let the blood flow back up the body is also good.
You may need to go and see a specialist to get some more advice.
Take time out to make sure your body recovers properly after your sessions.
Although attacking is the most popular style at the top level in Table Tennis, it is important to be able to defend well. If you choose to play a defensive style then you should be practicing these strokes all the time. If you play an attacking stroke then you should still try and find some time for these strokes. If you can win one extra point by defending well when pressured, it could make the difference between winning and losing.
