Reglueing the rubber

Dear Alois and Jeff,

I had my new bat built before a month. The glue was from Donic i think. I wanted to ask you a question. People have told me that I need to reglue my rubbers every 2-3 months. My question is: How often do I really have to do it? And do I need to remove the old glue every time I unstick my rubbers? Because my rubbers are Donic Bluefire M2 - the sponge is really soft and I'm afraid it can be easily destroyed.

There is no need to reglue them if they are not coming off the blade at all.
