Hi coaches, first off i wanna say i love watching all your videos, sometimes i tend to watch them over and over. Keep up the great work!

My question is, the other day i saw an asian playing at a local club, but his racket was a literal rectangle (dimensions maybe like 1ft×8in?) Long way. The other day my friend from korea was mentioning a racket that fit the description, so i figured i would try and buy him one for christmas, but i seem to not find ANYTHING of that type of racket, not even pictures. Is there a name, or some website you could refer me to?

Thank you guys in advance and happy holidays!

Hi Isaac,

Thanks for your kind words about the site.  I am glad that you are enjoying the videos so much.

That type of blade is a Jpen Racket.  It was usually associated with the Japanese style of penhold play.  Korean penhold players also tended to use this type of blade.

If you do a bit of a search for JPen rackets you will see some options there.  Here is the Butterfly shop options. http://shop.butterflyonline.com/japanese-table-tennis-blade.
