Equipment
Hey Coach,
I've played PingPong for about six months last year in my office for about 2 hrs a day, due to my busy schedule I was unable to touch a paddle until I decided to buy my own table and place it in my garage. Me and my friends have been playing against each other for the past 10 days, we use some unbranded paddles which has absolutely nothing in it. So I would be purchasing about 4 paddles and a good amount of balls as well, which one would you recommend ?
Hi Shiva,
We will ahove the PingSkills Rook for you. This is an ideal bat that will allow you to progress to a reasonable level. They will be available in a couple of weeks.
The most important thing with a bat is the quality of the rubber. Make sure it has some sponge under the rubber and the rubber surface has a good grip on it. Without experience it is very difficult to tell the difference between a good and poor rubber.
That is why we have set up a bat that is easy to choose.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

Hey Coach,
Thanks a lot for the reply! Yes, I was indeed thinking of purchasing your Rook racquet, but it was unavailable. I'll definitely order once it is up for grabs! To fill the 2-3 week period do you recommend Stiga racquets? Any particular model that you would recommend for a beginner?
Thanks,
Shiva.
