Strokes
Why does players tend to bend down so much when their opponent is serving?
Is it to examine the serve and the type of spin?
Hi Clement,
It is more to do why being able to move quickly when their opponent serves and also to be able to generate power on their return if the serve comes long.
The forehand chop is a defensive stroke played away from the table. It is mainly used by defenders but can also be incorporated into an attackers game when forced away from the table.
