Receiving Long Pimples Serves

Hi, i have no problems when i play against a long pimples player and he serves with backspin or topspin but when he uses a kind of tomahawk serve it is very difficult to me to receive it, i just dont have idea how to do that i dont know the angle, and even worst im not sure about what spin that ball has, please help me, thanks a lot

Hi Luis,

That is an interesting question.  The long pimples don't generate much spin so perhaps you are playing for too much spin on the ball.

You should think about flicking or looping these serves depending if they are short or long.

Look at them as no spin serves and work from there.
