hello sir Goodevening, im a state level player i have very good forehand topspin, loop and counter attack, and i can hit backhand topspin on loose balls and can hit backhand loop at heavy chops. My questioin what should be the ready position for me after i have served ? Should i be ready to attack from my forehand even if my serve is returned to my deep backhand or any where on the table OR should i get back to my ready stance so that if the ball comes to my back i should play from backhand and if the ball comes to my forehand i should play from the forhand. My ready stance is just like Timo Boll.Pls advise i would be very thankful to you. Thanks

Hi,

Because you can play Backhand Topspin you shoul dget back to a neutral position.  Be open to where the ball can come.  If you only getready for  aforehand you are limiting yourself and putting yourself under pressure to hit the next ball with your forehand.

Your reday position should be quite neutral.  If you take Timo Boll he is very balanced and ready to take the ball with either side.
