Hi,

How can I read the amount of topspin on the ball so that I can change my racket angle for block?

Thanks.

Hi Kaustubh,

This only comes with practice and experience.  Don’t try to think about each different angle you need.  Rather use experimentation to adjust the angle slightly each time.  The more you do it, the better you will get and judging the spin and the angle of your racket that is required.

That said, a faster bat causes more top spin, and an upward motion more topspin than forward momentum as compared to a forward stroke
