Hi,

I've been playing ping pong for multiple years and I've only ever used pre made bats. My current bat is the cornilleau next x90. Its a nice bat, but the rubber has almost worn out and i think its time to move to a  custom bat. The rakza line seems interesting and I like spin but i prefer speed. Control isn't much of a problem for me. What rakza rubber should i get? rakza 9 or 7 or 7 soft or x?

Hi Peter,

I don't think it will matter too much moving up from the pre made bat.  Just go for the normal Rakza 7.  I have used it and found it a good rubber with enough speed to work with.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
