Just a quick question. Ive recently become addicted to table tennis and have been playing for the last 2 months 3 days a week to try and improve. when i started i bought a butterfly pre made bat with a straight handle. the problem is that i hold the paddle using the penhold grip so i want to change the racket. I was looking at the stiga wrb energy penhold paddle with chinese friendship super 729 fx rubber and super 729 fx super soft.

My question is will i find the paddle easier to use seeing as i use a penhold grip? also is this paddle and rubber suitable for a novice like me?

Thanks for the lessons

Hi Tom,

That setup will be fine.  The Friendship rubber tends to be a little heavier but it depends on what you like.  You will probably find the penhold handle a bit more comfortable.

Glad you like the lessons.
