Training
Hi,
i have donic black devil wood with markV on both sides. A month has passed away but I'm still not having control over it.
Secondly whenever i play forehand or backhand counter i lose my consistency very quickly, my ball always tips on different places in every shot in opponent's court and i try a lot to loosen my body but it gets tight and hard especially my grip on racket becomes hard.
Hi Ahmed,
To change something you need to put complete focus on that thing. If you are hitting the ball all over the table with your counter, put a small target (coin or small piece of paper) on the table when you are practicing. Watch and see if your aim improves.
If you feel that your grip is tightening, focus on that while you are hitting. See how hard you are gripping the bat each time the ball hits your bat. Don't try too hard to loosen your grip because that will often lead to you putting more pressure on yourself.
Persevere with the bat for a little while. If you still find it too fast you may need to change to something a little slower.
Question actions
In this session you'll focus on increasing the speed of your footwork. To do this we ask you to forget about consistency and concentrate on speed. You should be playing at a pace where you can get around 4 or 5 balls on the table. If you are getting 10 or 20 balls on then you need to up your pace again. It's important to play right to the edge of your ability to actually increase your skill level. We also continue to develop the new serve you have chosen to work on.
