What would be the basis of the angle of the racket when doing a top spin or side spin?

Hoping for your reply.

Percy

Hi Percy,

For topspin you need to angle your bat over the top of the ball slightly.  So face the bat slightly towars the floor.

For sidespin drop your wrist slightly to make the ball curve.

Take a look at the Lesosns we have on the Forehand Topspin and the Sidespin forehand topspin.  They are located on our Lessons Page.  They will help you to improve your technique.
