Serving
I have just watched Par Gerell’s punch serve in the video you demonstrated. I have noticed that you served the ball toward the center of the table instead of to the far left. Is there any reason for that?
I know you are a lefty. Let’s suppose that your opponent is a right handed person. How do you plan to do a third ball attack with this serve?
How about against a lefty?
Hi Ken,
The positioning of the serve will depend on each opponent. I think it is good to develop the ability to place the ball to all parts of the table so that you can adapt to your opponent's strengths and weaknesses.
It is necessarily about where you would serve it to a lefty or righty but more about the abilities of your opponent.
