Problems pendulum serve & reverse pendulum

Serving

Hi Alois.

When doing the reverse pendulum serve (or the pendulum serve) the ball get a (very) little spin. I don't know if the problem is in the wrist movement or in the contact of the blade with the ball. Anyway, I would like to know where is the problem. The spin of the ball is better on the pendulum serve than in the reverse; but I'd like to increase the spin in both serves

Thanks for all, Alois.

Hi Artruro,

Try to flick your wrist through the contact like a whip.  This will increase the speed of contact and may help with the spin.

And, what part of the rubber should hit the ball (I use the shakehand grip and I'm right-handed)

Try to hit the ball down near the tip of the racket, away from the handle.  This part of the bat is moving fastest so has the potential to generate the most spin.

I tried that but anyway it goes to the net. What may I do?

It is important that you get your racket up high so that you can get the ball to bounce over the net.  Also make sure you are getting the first bounce close to you on your side of the table.
