Hi Alois and Jeff, i've been having a little trouble challenging other people. I have played with them and they beat me, not with topspins or smashes but they have been using sidespins with a weird type of sidespin smash. How can i increase my topspin speed? or what should i do to beat them?

Thanks for reading!

Hi George,

To increase your topspin speed first make sure your slow topspin has good technique.  Once you are happy with this, then just increase the speed of your stroke which will get the ball going faster.

You can also increase the speed of the serve.  This will make the rally more open and stop them from using the subtle spins.
