Sir I want to ask that I am getting problem returning chop pushes in my wide backhand. Firstly I explain you clearly. What happens in my matches.

1. Opponent serves to my wide backhand, a heavy spinny serve.

2. I return his serve by backhand chop push.

3. Then He return my chop by push and then when I push the ball goes long he do topspin on that ball and then I lose the point.

The main problem is push to push rally.

Alois sir you have a good Idea about this type of problems. Please help me.

Hi Devansh,

Ultimately you should try to topspin that first long serve to your backhand.  This will involve improving that stroke.

In the meantime as you improve the stroke try to work on your placement of the first push.  If you can keep the ball deep on the table or hit it to the weaker side of your opponent.

which push I do. forehand or backhand. In backhand push my ball goes to net and in forehand opponent flicks the ball.

Work on the technique and brush the ball on both strokes.
