Hi Alois,

Can you please analyze Zoran Primorac's high toss backhand serve. Can you explain how to get more spin and where to contact the ball? I have a pretty good backhand serve (Similar to the Ovtcharov serve. I copied it off your other video) Should I try this serve? and is it able to make a video about this for better understanding?

Thanks,

Adeepa

Hi Adeepa,

Primorac's high toss Backhand serve is a good one to copy and can be really effective.

He has a real ease of motion with it and allows the ball to drop onto the racket.  The speed of the ball dropping from the higher trajectory will get you a lot of spin.  He then uses a relaxed motion with his arm and wrist to generate the spin.

Contact the ball near the front edge of your racket for more spin.

I will put this on the list of videos to produce.
