I'm an intermediate table tennis player and actually confused of whether to make a custom made bat or buy a premade paddle. I use a GKI Kung Fu premade paddle as of now. I like to upgrade it. Please give a good advice with the best options available with both these i.e, best premade paddles, best rubbers, best blades within an average price range. Please help me...

Hi Mammen,

You can do either a better quality premade or a basic level custom bat but I would probably go for the premade bat first.

The ones we recommend are the PingSkills Rook as a Premade bat.  This will give you a good  amount of spin but still allow you to have control of the ball.

As i already mention i'm using a premade tt paddle from GKI. I dont know the ratings but it has definitely helped me developing my game. Now i'm thinking on going to bit higher lever. I searched net and found three other options available along with ping skills rook.

1) Changing the rubber on my previous bat with Yasaka Mark 5 rubber.

2) Buying a Joola Carbon table tennis blade along with the Yasaka Mark 5 rubber.

3) Addidas Tour Table Tennis Bat(5-ply blade with flared handles with repulse 700 rubber).

Please help with these options and let know which is the best among these.....

Don't know enough about options 2 and 3 but option 1 can work.

Thank you sir for giving me an opinion, i.e, option 1. But does that mean option 2 or 3 not good for me.

The others are OK but 1 would be the best.
