Dear Alois and Jeff

I have looked at the relevant section but my case regards advanced practising alone. It may be that there is nothing else that you can add but just in case this is my situation:

I have realised my dream by having a table in my garage. The problem is that my wife does not play so I am left on my own to do something with it. I can practise services and that has already given me an important edge which I did not have before but I wonder if you can think of ways of practising advanced shots like forehand and backhand drives or loops.

I am asking too much but you two have so much imagination and experience that perhaps can come up with some solution.

I will never tire of telling everybody that I talk to, how valuable my subscription is and what a sterling job you do.

Kind regards

Filippo

Hi Filippo,

As usual, you are too kind with your praise.

Here is one thought… what about getting your wife trained in Multi-ball feeding?  It would be a matter of her having the time and motivation to do this but it isn't very difficult to learn the feed.  We have started the Multiball series for Premium members that could help.

Just dropping the ball on the table yourself and then hitting it, could work but isn't as effective.

Have you seen the Return Boards.  Again not as effective but may be a possibility.  The other possibility is a Robot.  It wouldn't have to be a very complicated one just something that feeds the ball out to you.

Hope this helps in some way.

Perhaps others will have some suggestions for you.
