practicing with the wall

hi!

i do go for coaching thrice a week but i spend most of my time joining my tt table with the wall(in my house) and practicing forehand and backhand counterhits because my family members arent great players am i following the right path playing with the wall or should i try something else????

Hi Pavandeep,

Playing against the wall is a great idea if you don't have a practice partner.  This will help with your hitting skills.  OF course it isn't a total substitute for a practice partner, but it will be good for you.

Then you need to alter your stroke to counter this backspin. You also need to concentrate on generating your own backspin to make it harder for you opponent.
