Strokes

Hi. I play quite good right now, have been going to a club for 5 months now and know the basics etc...Main problem is my backhand and power hits. The power hits, they like are not going right. When I make a smaller version of it then it goes really well, but when I add more power I lose control or balance and the ball goes over the table...What could I do to improve my power shots or how do you call it ?

Hi Aleksander,

When you start to play the ball faster, it is important to keep the technique correct.  Often when we try to play faster the technique becomes too different.  In training, start a rally slowly and then with each stroke, try to increase the speed slightly still maintaining good technique,  See how this works for you.
