Hi Shreyas,

The Power Block or Punch as we call it comes from hitting the ball quite flat and at the highest point of its trajectory.  It is basically a block but you hit through it faster and flatter to get the ball to move faster.

We have a video on this as part of our video on how to Counter a Slow Spinny Topspin.

Forehand Topspin Variations

A great weapon is being able to vary the amount of speed and spin on your forehand topspin stroke. By making your stroke more vertical and brushing the ball finely, you can generate more spin. For more speed you need to swing more horizontally.
