Hi Alois thanks for your response on the Gardos question. I was wondering do you think world no 1 Ma Lin will reigne supreme in the class 9 singles event in Rio or do you think 15 year old Laurens Devos could take the title considering he is in top form at the moment after winning the Europeans. What's your Opinion?

Thanks in advance

Tam

Hi Tam,

I think Ma Lin is still favourite.  Laurens is rising quickly but I think the experience of Ma Lin will hold out in the bigger situation.

I do like Laurens playing style .  It is smooth and easy taking advantage of longer balls to make first attacks.

For those of you who may be wondering, there is a Ma Lin that plays for China in the Paralympics as well as the able bodied Ma Lin.
