The ball goes to side so what should the correct position of standing . The arm should stick to body or not or should it be open .

You can move your feet to get a comfortable position to make the forehand ball. If the ball is slightly to the side, move across and then you can play the same stroke.
The forehand chop is a defensive stroke played away from the table. It is mainly used by defenders but can also be incorporated into an attackers game when forced away from the table.
