Take a look at the section on the site, Strokes and Techniques. Work your way through that section. It is a good guide to step by step learning.

Finding one serve your opponent doesn't like can win you a match. That's why it's important to be able to serve with variation. When you playing an opponent try different variations of each serve and see what your opponent doesn't like.
