Playing pimples rubbers

hi coach,

How r u?i want to ask u about double pimples rubber players.my opponent player have double pimple on her rubber spectol and other one is hallmark.when i play matches with her i feel difficult.specialy when she serve me side spin on my backhand.(i am left hander and my opponent is right hander)i give her return high she can easly kill the ball.(1)how i can return it side spin service.(2)when i return her serve when and where)(what is the strategy for like this player who r using double pimples rubbers)

Hi Loee,

Firstly when she serves with sidespin thing about which way the ball wants to go off your bat.  If it wants to go to the right then you need to angle your bat to face the left.  If it wants to go to the left then you need to face your bat to the right.  Do not try to do too much with the ball on the return just use the angle of your bat to get it back.

The pimple players don't like to play against a lot of spin.  If you can use good topspin or good backspin it will make it harder for her to return the ball.  Alos keeping the ball llower makes it more difficult becuase they find it more difficult to lift the ball with topspin.
