Hi Abhinav,

Firstly as we always say, trying to play like one of the top players first requires thousands of hours of quality training.

Timo has a simple game that he executes extremely efficiently and well.  He has developed a range of serves that suits him and gets the ball where he want sit in a rally.  Then he plays effective topspin strokes again with a simple action.

As to changing hands, he has developed this skill through the hours of training with his normal hand.  This is not something that he goes out and trains for hours doing.  The brain gets the ability to do these things by making connections with what it has learned by using the other side.

#42 - Study Your Opponent

This is the second training plan focusing on match strategy. Last week we looked at your strengths and building a game around that. This week you should examine one of your competitors and pick out their weaknesses. Then you can design some training drills to expose those weaknesses. By doing this you'll be able to exploit them in a match situation and win points more easily.
