Strokes
Hi pingskills,
When playing my forehand topspin, my coach says I must turn my waist and the upper arm must pass through the ball fast in order a better quality stroke. But then, when I play the stroke, my coach told me I'm to aggressive with the stroke that I'm hitting everything out.
I can't help myself. Once I start to use my waist and arm faster, I will generate a lot of power. Is there a way I can play less aggressively but still maintaining the waist rotation and arm movement?
Hi Eugene,
When you rotate your waist you can still brush the ball on contact and hit the ball with more spin and safety. If you have a flatter contact it will go faster.
