Hi, alois. I'm a lefty,i've a question with topspin and smash strokes.every time i hit these strokes with my forehand it always goes through the other side (crosscourt). I just  want your advice how to hit the ball back to the lefthand side of mine. I know it about the angle of the bat.is there anything else to do with this stroke.  Thank you in advance. I'll always be your fan.

Hi Soonthorn,

To get the ball down the line think about hitting it a little later.  This will be when the ball is next to you.  If you hit the ball early it will tend to go cross court.

As you also said you can just lay your wrist back a little and that will do it.

Keep your grip relaxed as well.  When you tighten your grip the bat will face more across court.  Just try it while you are not playing and see what happens to your bat angle when you tighten your grip. When you are playing you may not notice that you are tightening your grip a little.  Only a small change in your grip will make a big difference asto where the ball will go.
