Strategy
I recently joined a ping pong club only to find out that 20% of the players play with PIPS. I have always lost because I get frustrated and don't even know what I am doing wrong or how I should play although I have very good forehand and backhand topspin as well as chop !
Thanks,
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
The first thing is to be open to watching the spin that comes off the pips. The more you play with an open mind against them, the easier it will be to play them.
I can hear it in your question that you are frustrated before you start.
Remember if you give them backspin it will come back to you with topspin and vice versa. If you start with this in mind you will find that you will soon start to get used to the balls that come back.
