Hi Coach,

I play with long pips ox on backhand. I'm not a chopper. I love people throwing all kinds of spin at me. But I struggle against players who play no spin balls, no topspin, no backspin. What should I do. How do I play no spin balls with my long pips.

Hi Sujeet,

Against the no spin ball you can force the ball through by pushing the bat through the ball and creating your own speed.

The other option is to twiddle (change sides of the bat) and attack with the normal rubber.

🏓 Tip 2: Discover the power of serving short and close to the centre line to reduce your opponents’ attacking options and give your team the advantage.

These small adjustments can make a big difference in your coordination, positioning, and success as a doubles pair.
