Playing a tall player

Strategy

Yesterday I was playing with a guy whose height was quite taller than mine, I found it difficult playing against him. I am more of a defensive kind of a player so when he hits the ball he has got an advantage that it bounces a lot more than playing against a regular player and if I play a pushing game he is good at pushing so what can I do against such a player?

Hi Rutvik,

Often taller players find it difficult if you play the ball into their middle area because they have long arms, it takes more movement to make position for the ball into their body.  Give it  try next time.

These small adjustments can make a big difference in your coordination, positioning, and success as a doubles pair.
