Sometimes when i play others, i notice they are very nervous, and their strokes during warm up are very rigid and stiff, rather than fluid.

how should i play him?

should i go ahead and attack him right from the start?

should i play defensively?

should i intimidate them during warm up, or the first few shots?

thx

Hi Kyle,

Intimidation isn't the way.

If they are nervous, make sure you are giving them an opportunity to make mistakes.  Keep the ball on the table to start with.  You still need to keep enough pressure on them.  If you hit the ball too softly they will start to gain confidence.
