Hi PingSkills, Today I met a guy who defends really well. He can almost chop every shots of mine in a close-to-table position. Can you give me a good tactic against this type of player?

Hi Viet,

These sort of players rely on your speed.  Slow the ball down until you are ready to make a wining shot.  Also you can pushy he ball to their backhand side if they are not able to attack.  Then pick the ball that you want to attack.

Often a good place to attack them is to their middle, under their armpit.  Because they are close to the table it will be difficult for them to defend.
