How can you do a backhand and forehand chop when you are a penholder?

Hi Martin,

It is a more difficult stroke.  That is why you don't see many penhold choppers.  I know of one that still plays in Fiji.

It is a matter of getting the bat angle right and laid right back.

Forehand Topspin Variations

A great weapon is being able to vary the amount of speed and spin on your forehand topspin stroke. By making your stroke more vertical and brushing the ball finely, you can generate more spin. For more speed you need to swing more horizontally.
