Hi Alois

I have played with penhold grip. My teacher use a shakehand grip but he can play with penhold. He said if the ball is in left can use the downside but can use the upside of penhold bat too. Its right???

thanks

Hi Edo,

You certainly can use both side of the bat for your backhand. Most penhilders now are developing both of these strokes. Previously it was the limitation of the penhold but now it can be a strength.

Give it a go and see if you can do it.
