Hi alois i asked this question more than 300 times hehe sorry for bothering ,yesterday i went to a friend's b-day, my friend was gifted a table tennis i tried to do the pendulum serve so many times and i can't! I mean i don't really know how to hit the ball in the pendulum serve. Also i can hold the bat with 3 fingers but the way I can.

I want you please to answer me 3 questions

1º) How do i have to hit the ball in that serve?

2º) What's the difference between the Reverse pendulum and the pendulum.

3º) How do I have to grab the bat with the 3 fingers

Well I would also appreciate if you could make a video, but not you showing how to do it in the table, I mean you in front of the camera showing how to hit it and how to hold the bat with the 3 fingers.

Thank you alot and sorry for bothering me. The problem is that im 11 years old so I can't do too much ;<

I was gifted a table tennis, like i told you alois, i have it at home already =)

Hi Ontivero,

Take a look at the video we have showing me doing the Pendulum and Reverse Pendulum serve on our youtube channel.  Here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cREC-uXp-KQ

The Pendulum serve is hit with the bat inside the ball or closer to your bay, the reverse pendulum serve the bat comes around the outside of the ball or further away than the ball.

The grip is with the three fingers that are normally on the handle taken away an you make a fist behind the handle.  Try these tips out and most of remember to keep practicing.  The best way to improve is to get out on the table and give it all a try.

The Kicker Serve

The kicker serve is one of our "must learn" serves. It's fast, fun, and has lots of topspin. It can be dangerous because if it's not fast enough and if you don't surprise your opponent then they may be able to attack it forcefully putting you on the defensive straight away. Used well though, and sparingly, it can be a great weapon. It can win you a point outright and it will stop your opponent from standing over the table waiting for your short serves since they need to be ready for anything.
