Hello Alois,
I've been trying the pendulum serve lately but the ball keeps on hitting the net.
Can you tell me what I need to do?

Hi Gerard,
Contact the ball when it is higher. Then hit the ball more into the table on your side. This will give the serve more bounce and the ball will clear the net.

Varying the speed is different from varying the length. You can have a fast short serve and a slow short serve. You can also have a fast long serve and a slow long serve.
