In the first training session in 52 week training plan - stroke consistency - lots of strokes are shown for the player at one end.  What is the player at the other end doing?  Same shot or a block?  Thanks John.

Hi John,

Yes the other player is doing the same thing in the Training Drills for consistency.

Let us know how the session goes for you.

OK.  That makes it more clear, thank you.

We are just beginners and find your videos really a good way to learn. But an important component of the sessions are that when you are practicing a particular shot, your opponent returns the ball in the same area. This does not seem to happen to us. The ball moves all over the table and we end up mixing up our practice session. How do we seek maximum benefit from your program?

Hi Amol,

You can try slowing it down to a speed that you are able to control.  Another thing you can try is just bouncing the ball one at a time and then catching it.  I find this works really well to start with.

The other option is Multiball.  If you can both learn to feed multi ball you can get the ball consistently in the right spot to learn the strokes.  Take a look at the section on Multiball for some help with this.
