Equipment
Good day sir im making a table tennis table with plywood which paint do u suggest i use oil base or water base.
Hi Joshua,
I don't have much knowledge on the subject of paints but I think an oil based pain would be better. Perhaps others will be able to help you more.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

Hi, Joshua
Have you by any chance already checked out Greg Letts's site (my number two site for all table tennis info, after PingSkills, of course!)? He has a page on tables, with some useful looking links, here:-
http://tabletennis.about.com/od/beginnersfaqs/f/build_tt_table.htm
Let us know how you get on with the whole table building project anyway, will you? A lot of us have old tables that could do with restoring or repairing and it would be nice to benefit from your experiences. :]
Good luck!
Thanks Gordon for helping out. It would be good to hear how you do with the table.
