Hi Coach. Thanks a lot about your site , it is perfect. I had a question about saving our rubber (Make it spin last longer) , I mean stickness of the rubber. Should I use plastic and cover my rubber by a plastic? And is it recommended to use sponge for cleaning the rubber for more life? (Having that stickness for more time) Because When we use and practice with our paddle 2 times a week , it may only have stickness for 6 months. I wanted to know how to make it last longer . Thanks a lot! Parsa

Hi Parsa,

A few important things to protect your rubber are:

  • Cover it with plastic after you have finished.
  • Wipe the rubber with a damp cloth when you finish playing and also if there is dust or sort on your rubber during your session.
  • Keep it away from sunlight or heat.  This is the most important one.  Even if you leave it in a car in the heat it can destroy your rubber quickly.

I hope this helps.
