hey alois and jeff...

After my exams my forehand topspin doesn't feel right. i cant flat hit the ball or play a faster topspin with just enough spin to get it on the table. All my shots INCLUDING my counters are arching on the table too much and go off the table. is it that i may have changed my stroke or am i brushing it too much even for a counterhit? i know ur advice would be to give my self some more time to get back but then this has gone on for over 2 weeks... and considering the 'form' i had before my exams this is terrible.  im thinking the problem may be due to not using wrist or 'slapping' the ball but what do you think.

pls reply fast as i cant face my team.

ps. reallly enjoyed ur video on forehand variation.

thanks

Hi Shripathi,

Spin is probably the key here.  If the ball is going off the end you need to put more brush on the ball. Slow your stroke down till you can do it at a slow pace consistently and then you can think about speeding it up.
