Dear Sir,

Are offensive player and attacking player are the same ?

And what about the looper? Is he an offensive player or attacking player ?

Hi Oscar,

Offensive and Attacking players are very similar terms.  Both attacking and offensive players will try to make a topspin or smash shot whenever the ball is long.

A looper will make a topspin stroke rather than a flatter stroke when they are attacking.
