It is good to eat regularly during tournaments so you don't have too much to eat at any time and feel heavy.
Things like breads with fruit are good to keep you going during the day. Bananas are also good for you during a long day. If you get a longer break during during the day you may be able to have something more substantial.
Before training something like an milk based energy drink is good to keep you going. Always remember to keep the water levels up during training and tournaments.
