Strokes
Hi,
Is there a perfect/professional position for the non-playing hand? I am a right-hander who keeps the left hand fully open (at chest level), and that looks a bit odd when I recorded a video for the first time. I have never seen 'myself' play before! Please advise.

Hi Sasi,
Try to keep your hand balanced. This usually means having it up in front of you almost like a robots arm position. This will help to balance your body.
If you have your arm down by your side that side of your body will not be helping you with the stroke and will limit your ability to generate power.
The forehand chop is a defensive stroke played away from the table. It is mainly used by defenders but can also be incorporated into an attackers game when forced away from the table.
