New rubbers are very shiney. As they wear the shine goes away. Are they better shiney or worn?

How much is too worn?

Hi Don,

New rubber tend to lose grip after about 100 hours of play.  They ar ebetter when they are new because they have better grip.

I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
