Strokes
Hi coach,
So my problem is that during an exchange of ball, I often miss the ball or hit it with the top or the other corner of my racket. So I would like to know, what kind of training should I do for being able to hit or spin correctly a ball, and I also would like to know if the ball should be hit with a special part of the racket (I mean in the middle for example) or wherever I touch the ball the effect will be the same?
Thanks in advance, and Good luck.
Hi Haja,
Firstly try to hit the ball in the middle of your racket. Β This will give you the best opportunity for getting the ball on the table consistently.
If you are mishitting the ball try two things, watching the ball more closely and secondly making sure you are controlling the ball more than trying to hit it too fast.
