hi

What match strategys do you recommend when my opponent has a decent flick on fore and backhand, and he has a nice forehand topspins and is decent at defending on the backhand. Can you make a video for this,PLEEEEAAAAASSSSSE!

THANKS anyway if you just answer in just words.

Hi Jonathan,

You are describing an attacking player.  We do have a video lesson on our Match Strategy lessons for this type of player.  I understand you are not a Premium member so here are some tips for you.

I would try to either keep the ball really short with backspin which will make it harder for them to flick or if they are really still too strong at flicking then think about pushing the ball fast and long with good backspin to their backhand.

Since they have a strong forehand topspin you need to stay away from that stroke.  However you may also push the ball fast and deep to the wide forehand corner.  When you are doing this expect them to topspin the ball back to you but then you can expose their backhand side on the next ball because they are out on their forehand side.

I hope this helps.
