Hi Coach,

Is it true that all the tensor rubber are MADE IN GERMANY but if the rubber is MADE IN JAPAN OR CHINA it is not a tensor rubber? I read in an article about Tensor rubber. I read it their.

But I came to know that Japanese companies Mizuno, Sanwei makes one of the best tensor rubber all over the world.

To whom should I trust. That article or reviews?

Hi Tushar,

Here's what Luke said about your question on our Facebook page:

Tensor is just a trademarked word created by a German rubber manufacturing company. So any company claiming to be tensor just means it has come out of this particular factory. 'Tensor' is just the process of stretching the rubber to add tension, and has been done after speedgluing was deemed illegal. Butterfly refer to this as their high tension rubbers like tenergy, but it is all the same process. I would just say to try different rubbers and see which suits your own game, reviews and descriptions (particularly those by the company) are generally biased and can only tell you so much.

Thanks Luke :)

Thanks Jeff for sharing,

That simply means It doesn't matter that I use a Tensor or a Normal rubber. The thing should matter, that rubber should suit my game and help me improve.
